Escaping Reality is a great book — a thriller written with humour and with settings so well described that I could close my eyes and be that poor guy on the run, experiencing his various shocking adventures and his ultimate discovery of ‘who dunnit’. Authentic settings so well described that it was possible to visit one of the locations and almost trace each of our hero’s steps. My mind still boggles at that certain activity in a rocking chair. Intrigued, I will never again view rocking chairs as a cosy, relaxing piece of furniture designed for nursing mothers and the elderly. On the other hand, there is a connection there. There’s no escaping reality even where rockers are concerned!
A jolly good mystery full of tension right up to THE END.
Few books are recalled in detail nearly two years after reading them. Surely a witness of excellent writing.
